We build upon what makes them special, adding our own point of view through colour, ornamentation, unexpected materials and playful interventions.
Much of this comes together through collaborations with artisans, each bringing their own skill, knowledge and sensibility to the process. By bringing different crafts, ideas and ways of making together, we create objects that are one of a kind.
We call these creations assemblies.
Each assembly begins with an object and evolves through instinct, exploration and the possibilities we discover along the way. Our process is guided by the piece itself, allowing its character to inform what comes next. Every creation is one of one, made to surprise, invite a second look and find its place in a world of its own.
But a piece is only half its story. The other half begins with the person who finds it.
We like to think of our buyers as collectors, people with an eye for the unexpected and an appreciation for things that stand apart. People who find joy in the unusual, who are drawn to objects with character and who enjoy living with things that have a story to tell.
